Send an enquiry
Tell us the trip, roughly when, how many of you, and anything you’ve already decided. It takes about two minutes, and it starts a conversation, not a booking. A real person reads it and replies within one to two days with a first proposal.

We build it around you
The team works through dates, module swaps, hotels and travel within India with you, and confirms them with our ground partner before you book. You book your own international flights to India, on your own airline, from your own airport.

You land, and the plan is ready
Hotels, transfers, trains, guided experiences and restaurant bookings, coordinated before you leave home. Any flights within India are set out in your quotation. Free days are built into every trip for rest or spontaneous wandering.
What’s in your dossier
After you send an enquiry, we don’t just email back a price. Within one to two days, a real person replies with a first proposal: suggested dates, an indicative land price for your chosen service tier, any module swaps you’ve selected, and a day-by-day outline of stays and guided experiences. As the plan firms up, it becomes your personal dossier, with hotels, dates and the exact price confirmed with our ground partner: the working document you’d actually book from, not a generic brochure.
Land-only, explained
All eight trips are sold land-only. International flights to India are not included, and Rooetd doesn’t sell or arrange them: you book those yourself, from your preferred airport, on the airline and fare class you choose. We take care of the trip from the moment you land: hotels, ground transport, guided experiences, activity bookings, and restaurant reservations where relevant, all coordinated before you leave home. Some routes also use flights within India; each trip page lists them, and your quotation sets out exactly how they’re arranged and priced. Rooetd handles the planning, booking and customer relationship directly, with ground services delivered on our behalf by Travel Pals India, so you don’t need to arrange any of it yourself.
Essential Boutique vs Luxury Heritage Estate
Both tiers follow the same itinerary, route and destinations. The temples, backwaters, desert and mountains are the same either way. The main difference is where you stay: comfortable mid-range hotels on Essential Boutique, boutique and heritage properties on Luxury Heritage Estate.Transfers, guiding and meals can also differ between tiers, and your quotation sets out exactly what your chosen tier includes before you decide.
Pricing is land-only, per person, based on a shared double or twin room. A solo supplement applies for solo travellers. Travelling as a larger group? Mention your group size in the enquiry notes and we’ll talk the pricing through with you.
Module swaps
Every trip page lists its available swaps and exactly what they cost. Some add days, some remove them, some are a straight substitution at no extra cost. A small number are currently conditional on factors outside our control, the Kartarpur Corridor’s operating status, for instance. Where that’s the case, the trip page says so plainly rather than quietly offering something that isn’t currently bookable.
None of this is fixed the moment you enquire, either. This is a bespoke trip, built around you rather than sold off a shelf. Change a swap, a date, a tier, any of it, while we plan it together. The eight routes on this site are reference itineraries, a sense of pace and price, not the limit of what we do. Every region of India is on the table.
